Archbishop Mark of Berlin and Germany Celebrated Divine Liturgy at Holy Epiphany Church

On Saturday, August 29th, Archbishop Mark of Berlin and Germany arrived in Boston accompanied by Deacon Dimitry Temidis. On Sunday Archbishop Mark led the Divine Liturgy in the Holy Epiphany church co-served by Archimandrite Joasaph (McLellan), Head of the Russian Ecclesiastical Mission in Jerusalem, Priest Victor Boldevskul, rector of Holy Epiphany, and Priest Thomas Reske, Protodeacon Alexander Jaroshchuk and Deacon Victor Ganson. After liturgy, Fr. Victor noted that Vladyka Mark was visiting Holy Epiphany for the first time, and expressed the hope that the Archbishop would come again in the future, and thanked Vladyka for his prayers.

Many years was intoned to Archbishop Mark, to Archbishop Alypy of Chicago and Detroit, as it was his namesday, and to Matushka Irina Lukianov, who was celebrating her 82nd birthday. After liturgy, Vladyka Mark met with Archimandrite Joasaph, and left that evening for the Holy Trinity Monastery with Fr. Victor.  On Monday, Vladyka served a panikhida for Metropolitan Laurus, on the day of the commemoration of the holy martyrs Flor and Laurus.
