New Hall Update.

At our June Parish Council Meeting, members of the parish council were informed of the work previously accomplished by the Building Committee. Father Victor thanked them for the hard work that was clearly shown, and the council agreed to form two committees to continue the work of building a new parish center. All committees will work under the supervision of the Rector or the parish council and report regularly to the parish council. Once a specific plan is developed and approved by the Parish Council, it will be presented to a special General Parish Meeting for consideration by all members of the parish. The Building Committee will be led by Mr. Serge Plishevsky and the Fundraising Committee will be led by Ilia Jarostchuk. Committees will begin their work in July.

New Doors Update.

At the last Annual Parish Meeting, it was agreed to replace the doors at entrance of our church. Our deacons, Fr. Thomas and Fr. Alexander, met with a contractor. Replacing the doors is not a simple task, since it will require the rebuilding of the frame. Fr. Thomas is coming up with a design for the entrance which will be considered at a special parish council meeting on July 21. A fund has been established to pay for the doors. If you wish to donate to this cause, please see our church warden, Dr. George Ganson.

Parish School.

Our parish school will start again in September. We are anticipating a possible need for new teachers. If you are able to volunteer your time on a regular basis for the spiritual education of our youth, please contact Fr. Victor. Enrollment information for the parish school will be included in our next newsletter. Additionally, see our parish website.
